Saturday Market #13: Lucky 13? Depends on Your Definition of Lucky...

Lucky: The Traceys are back! They were a Eugene fixture when I started in the early 90s and rightly so. Superb tight harmonies, delicious choices in repertoire, great arrangements, wonderful energy, goosebumply to watch. Then typical life-type stuff happened and they took a break, which was sad - for me anyway. Then this spring Annie Tracey called and asked for a Traceys gig. Hooooray I said and signed them up. Here they are singing a new one, "One More Day." Worth a listen for sure!

Not so lucky: The weather was too hot! Nothing slows down an outdoor event in Eugene Oregon faster than the thermometer topping 86 degrees. Not even raining and 45 degrees stops people as fast. Sounds wimpy, I know, but it's true. It was 86 degrees before noon. Hence a sloooow Market day. No doubt the Track Trials pulled folks away as well. Here's hoping they'll be bored and looking for some fun, and willing to venture forth in the 81 predicted degrees. Here's an atypically leisurely food court at lunchtime...

Now, on to Luckier 14! See you there...
